Friday, October 11th is National Sausage Pizza Day – Celebrate at Talayna’s Italian Restaurant
Talayna’s is one of the oldest family-owned pizzerias in the St. Louis region has been in for more than 55 years.
They love pizza and Italian cuisines; they feel that this is an underappreciated holiday, and they want to do their part to help popularize this incredible holiday and hope the rest of the world accepts and meets their enthusiasm.
Ok, well, that might be slightly too enthusiastic. But, Talayna’s does love pizza and offer special sausages for all types of pizzas, including New York Style, Chicago Style, St. Louis Style pizza, and more.
According to Wikipedia, the word “pizza” appeared in Latin text from the central Italian town of Gaeta in 997 AD. Foods similar to pizza have been made since the Neolithic Age, with records dating back to the 6th century BC.
To celebrate National Sausage Pizza Day, Talayna’s is offering any style of sausage pizza at a 15% discount for dine-in only on October 11th and 12th.
