New Chef at Candicci’s Restaurant – Jack W. MacMurray III
BALLWIN, MO: (STLRestaurant.News) – Candicci’s Restaurant and Bar has a new Executive Chef, Jack W. MacMurray III. Chef Jack started at Candicci’s this past week. While there are many new plans for the future at Candicci’s Restaurant, Chef Jack is busy getting acquainted with the kitchen, staff, recipes and catering services before suggesting any significant changes.
Chef Jack received his culinary training at the Academy of Culinary Arts in Atlantic City, NJ in 1992. He has been a chef for the past 25 years working at such places as Sage in Soulard, Wild Horse Grill in Chesterfield and Joe Bucks in downtown St. Louis. Additionally, Jack worked in Vail, Colorado for 9 years in addition to working as a consulting chef. Chef Jack is also a trained Sushi chef and butcher.
As new chef at Candicci’s, Jack’s plan is nothing too fast, too soon, as it will take some time to get his feet wet, but eventually he plans on creating daily and weekend specials while keeping many Candicci’s favorites. He looks forward to helping implement the new BBQ catering services recently purchased BBQ ASAP and pizza carryout facility that will open in the next couple of months. Specific dates have not yet been determined, but it will be announced as soon as definitive plans are determined.
Bob Candice, manager of Candicci’s would like to invite everybody to visit the restaurant and meet Jack. There are many plans for the future that might be of interest to customers and the community. Candicci’s has been in the restaurant and catering business for more than 35 year.
