Coffee Shop Closing

Another Coffee Shop Reduced to Grounds

ST. LOUIS, MO: (STLRestaurant.News) – Coffee lovers get attached to their coffee, and there’s sad news for neighborhood coffee lovers in the Brentwood area. The Brentwood Perk Coffee Shop, located at 2944 S. Brentwood Blvd, is closing its doors for good. Local couple, Dennis and Mary Keller, opened the shop in September of 2014, optimistic that growing a business would be similar to growing a family. This they’d had a lot of experience with, raising seven children between the two.

The Brentwood Perk, has two drive-through lanes and serves locally roasted coffee, by Mississippi Mud Coffee Co. Their menu also includes tea, soda, smoothies, parfaits, muffins, pie, soup, panini and sandwiches on bagels.

When they opened, they did so in the same building that houses the Coffee Shop, Java Dave’s, and Queen Bean. In the end, there was just too much competition. The couple recently posted on their facebook page that they were closing June 30th, with a heavy, yet, thankful heart for all the wonderful support. The Brentwood Perk will brew up its last cup of “morning joe” this week.
