Get Your Post-Halloween Cleanse On – Top 5 Juice Bars

ST. LOUIS, MO: (STLRestaurant.News) – Top 5 Juice Bars – Halloween can be one of the most fun “holidays” of the year.  There’s candy, and parties, and candy, and costumes, and candy, and scary movies, and more candy!  Yay!  Everyone enjoys a little sweet treat once in awhile, but let’s face it, with a holiday where it’s tradition to gather and consume as much candy as you can, Halloween can put you into sugar overload.  After such overindulgence, many people turn to healthier eating, including perhaps, a juice cleanse.

Trying to take better care of yourself, or get your normally healthy lifestyle back on track after a Halloween binge can be challenging.  But it doesn’t have to disrupt your social schedule.  St. Louis diners have lots of healthy options, including restaurants and cafes that make healthy dining—even a juice cleanse—a little easier.  After consulting the customer reviews, we’ve found the top five juice bars in St. Louis.

Leading the list with 4.5 stars is Seedz Cafe at 6344 South Rosebury in Clayton’s Demun neighborhood. They bill themselves as a restaurant and gathering place. Their decor is both rustic and sleek, with elements of stainless steel and reclaimed wood. The clean, uncluttered design is intended to evoke feelings of comfort and to make gathering with friends cozy and uncomplicated.

At Seedz Cafe, you’ll find a 100% organic, plant-based menu featuring fresh juice blends and smoothies.  You’ll also find vegan-friendly dishes such as “Rawvioli” (thinly sliced organic beets stuffed with walnut pesto and served on a bed of organic greens) or the Raw Pad Thai (raw, organic zucchini noodles tossed with basil garlic peanut sauce and served on a bed of spinach).  But you won’t find free Wi-Fi.  In fact, owners Cara Moon Schloss and Monty Gralnick are hoping you’ll see Seedz as the perfect place to unplug.  Their philosophy is that people better connect with others when they disconnect from distracting electronics.

Seedz Cafe is open Tuesday – Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  They’re closed Mondays.
