St. Louis’ Best Overall Restaurants

ST. LOUIS, MO: (STLRestaurant.News) – OpenTable, the San Francisco-based online restaurant reservation service, recently released a brand new list of St. Louis’ best restaurants.  The website evaluates 400,000 new diner reviews every month to find the best overall restaurants around the world.  On this most recent release, there were a few changes from their previous ranking released in January.  Dropped from the prior list are India’s Rasoi, Tony’s On Main, and Porter’s Steakhouse.

However, look for some new additions.  Taking over the No. 1 spot this is Napoli 2, located at 1054 Town and Country Crossing Dr. Offering classic Italian cuisine, handmade pasta, and specializing in fresh fish, makes them a favorite.  Rounding out the list in order is Tony’s Restaurant, on Market St., Anthony’s Bar at 10 S. Broadway, owned by the Bommarito family, which also owns Tony’s Restaurant, right next door. The Crossing restaurant, at 7823 Forsythe Blvd., is still said to be considered the best restaurant in Clayton.

For the best sushi in town, Wasabi Sushi Bar on 1650 Beale St. in St. Charles makes the list.  Zodiac at Neiman Marcus, which offers a contemporary American menu, continues to sparkle with 4.8 stars on OpenTable.  Of course, Annie Gunn’s, located at 16806 Chesterfield Airport Rd, also ranks up there with the best. Add on the posh steakhouse, J Gilbert’s Wood-Fired Steaks & Seafood, at West County Center, The Melting Pot, the king of fondue restaurants coming in with 4.6 stars, rounded out by Spiro’s Restaurant in Chesterfield, always offering great food with a friendly smile.
