St. Charles, MO/December 10, 2015 (STLRestaurant.News) Roux Royale Bar & Bistro – Kickin’ it up year round with a Cajun flare, is the Roux Royale Bar & Bistro located in picturesque Newtown, St. Charles. From their house made Gumbo to their Blackened Salmon, the Creole flavors radiate through nearly every dish.  Shared plates feature: Homemade Baked Meatballs, Creole Butter Shrimp & Andouille, A Creole Crab Dip, Jumbo Chicken Wings, Sugar Fire Pulled Pork Nachos, and Endamame Hummus with Grilled Pita Bread, celery and carrot sticks, Buffalo Chicken Dip, and Crab Cakes.

An eclectic variety of Flatbreads include: Chicken (BBQ or Buffalo), Creole Chicken (Grilled Chicken, Bacon, Peppers, Cheese and a Creole Cream Sauce, Artichoke and Pesto (Pesto Sauce with Grilled Artichokes, Red Onion and Feta Cheese) to name a few.

Mouth-watering delicious sandwiches (with a side of fries or roasted vegetables) include: a grilled steak sandwich served on a Garlic Cheese Baguette topped with grilled onions and a Creole Sauce, Pulled Salmon (Grilled Pulled Salmon mixed with Cajun Seasoning and a BBQ Sriracha Sauce on a Brioche Bun), Shrimp Po Boy (Shrimp Sautéed in Cajun Seasoning Topped with lettuce, tomato and Creole Mayo on a Baguette), Ultimate Cuban (Grilled ham, pulled pork, spicy mustard, Swiss cheese and pickles on a grilled baguette), Build your own Burger and my favorite, the Blackened Chicken Sandwich (8 Ounce tender chicken breast blackened and grilled served with a fabulous Garlic Aioli on a Brioche bun), and more.

Salads (which are generously portioned for both the small or large order) include Ceasar, Mediterranean (Cucumbers, Tomato, Kalamata Olives, Peppers, Feta Cheese and tossed in a Greek Vinaigrette), Creole Shrimp Salad (Spring Mix, Blackened Shrimp, Creole Corn, Red Onion, Tomato, Monterey Jack Cheese, Tortilla Chips and a Creole Ranch Dressing), Seasonal Salad (Spring Mix, Apples, Dried Cranberries, Toasted Walnuts, Feta Cheese and house made Raspberry Dressing), and a mixed green salad.

Roux Royale Bar & Bistro’s handcrafted cocktails, wide variety of wines, flavored mimosas and their signature Roux Royale Loaded Bloody Mary are just as popular as their delicious food.  Their menu changes seasonally. During warmer seasons their beautiful patio with fire pits is a popular place to enjoy dinner, drinks and entertainment.  During the winter months their beautiful interior and cozy atmosphere is an inviting place to dine and socialize.  And speaking of socializing, Roux Royale Bar & Bistro has a couple holiday events coming up.  December 17th is their Festive Pajama Party with Fabulous Drink Specials.  And live music by Big Wheel will be ringing in the New Year at the Roux Royale New Year’s Eve Bash.
