National Donuts Day
ST. LOUIS, MO: (STLRestaurant.News) – National Donuts Day is on the first Friday of each June and this year it falls on June 3rd. National Donuts Day is one of the more legitimate food holidays in existence. It started in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor women who served donuts to the soldiers in World War 1.
Many franchise donuts franchises like Dunkin’ Donuts and Krispy Kreme give away one free donuts every holiday. Dunkin Donuts has been serving donuts for more than 66 years and is the #1 retailer of donuts in the United State offering more than 70 varieties of donuts daily.
Donuts is one of those foods that everybody loves. I honestly don’t know anybody that doesn’t love donuts. Nobody will admit to eating them, however, think about the donuts shops, Hostess, Little Debbie and so on. There are donuts everywhere and they wouldn’t make them if consumers didn’t eat them.
Find your favorite donuts shop/store for next Friday, June 3rd and enjoy yourself a donuts. Does anybody know the correct spelling? Is it donuts or doughnut? Who care! Just give me a doughnut.
