Gamlin Whiskey House and Sub Zero Vodka Bar to Host Community Give Back Days
ST. LOUIS, MO/August 28, 2017 (STLRestaurant.News) Support for local community organizations is one of the things that make a city shine and prosper. The Gamlin Restaurant Group understands how vital that is to a city’s growth. That’s why they are happy to help out by hosting Give Back Days.
“Giving back has always been an important part of the foundation of our establishments. Our Give Back Days are a great way to build awareness about local organizations while also helping them achieve their missions,” says GRG Proprietor Lucas Gamlin.
Since 2013 when it was founded, the GRG Gives Back program has contributed hundreds of volunteer hours and over $150,000 in both monetary and in-kind donations to many St. Louis-based organizations. A few of those are Forest Park Forever, World Pediatric Project, the Gateway Area Chapter of the National MS Society, Cardinals Care, Blues For Kids, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis. They’ve done this mainly through in-store promotions, and special events.
On Tuesday, Aug. 15, Gamlin Whiskey House donated 15 percent of all sales to The Jason Motte Foundation, an organization with an extremely worthwhile mission. The Jason Motte Foundation provides comfort and care to those people affected, either directly or indirectly, by cancers of all kinds.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, Aug. 29, the company’s Sub Zero Vodka Bar will contribute 15 percent of all their bar sales to St. Louis Arc. This is an organization that helps to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to lead much better lives by providing a lifetime of high-quality services, crucial family support, and much needed advocacy.
The Gamlin Restaurant Group was founded by brothers Derek and Lucas Gamlin. Their theory has always been to create original bar and restaurant concepts that bring cutting-edge ideas to the St. Louis dining scene. And the theory has paid off. Both restaurants have received national accolades, including being named Best Vodka Bar and one of the Best Whiskey Bars in the country by USA Today.
Besides Gamlin Events & Catering, they own Sub Zero Vodka Bar at 308 N. Euclid Ave. This establishment boasts of the largest vodka selection in the country, served alongside fresh sushi and gourmet burgers. Gamlin Whiskey House, at 236 N. Euclid, is a steakhouse with a Southern flair that offers more than 250 whiskeys and fine wines. The Group’s newest establishment, 1764 Public House, is currently under construction. It will be located at the corner of West Pine Blvd. and Euclid Ave. in St. Louis’ Central West End neighborhood.
