Get ready to feast in Clayton! Clayton Restaurant Week
CLAYTON, MO/January 8, 2017 (STLRestaurant.News) The 8th annual Clayton Restaurant Week is slated for Monday January 23rd. – Sunday January 29th 2017. This event features 16 fine dining restaurants in Clayton, offering a special three-course dinner promotion for a fixed price of either $25 or $35 per person, plus tax and tip.
Clayton Restaurant Week is an opportunity for patrons to dine at one of their favorite eateries or partake in a new dining experience. The event also affords chefs the opportunity to demonstrate their culinary creativity. Last year’s event proved to be successful. According to organizers, the 2015 Clayton Restaurant Week resulted in a sales increase between 20% and 100% compared to normal January sales weeks. The promotion attracted over 13,000 diners, with many restaurants reporting waiting lists and full sellout nights .
Besides being a revenue generator for Clayton’s fine dining establishments, Clayton Restaurant Week also benefits the local charity, Operation Food Search. Patrons may offer an “Extra Helping” donation when paying their check. Your $5 or larger donation goes directly to Operation Food Search, who provides nutritious food to the hungry in our community. Every month, through a network of 330 community partners, Operation Food Search helps to feed more than 200,000 individuals, a third of whom are children. Last year, nearly $8,000 was raised for Operation Food Search.
Attending Clayton Restaurant Week is simple. There are no passes to buy, coupons to carry or cards to punch. Patrons simply visit the participating restaurant of their choice. CRW restaurants feature select items from their soup/salad/appetizer, entrée and dessert menus. To complement the meal, restaurants are also offering Stella Artois, Goose IPA and Breckenridge Vanilla Porter beers as a specially priced “add a glass” promotion.
Reservations are not required, but highly recommended by organizers in response to the popularity of the event in previous years.
